About Us

The Anacostia Coordinating Council (ACC) is a Washington, DC community based organization.  Since its inception in 1983, ACC  has been a consortium of community service providers, the ACC Transformers.  The ACC Transformers are engaged in providing needed services, primarily in Washington’s Wards 7 and 8.​ 

The ACC's information gathering, sharing, networking, advocacy and community organizing outreach has been enhanced by the DC CareLink (DCCL)  initiative.  This initiative is an interconnected community care referral system designed using the Community CareLink's software (https://www.communitycarelink.com).  The DCCL enables ACC to continue to positively impact the community we serve in Anacostia River East (ARE).
